RELEASE DATE CHANGES |

| ONE DIRECTION CONCERT MOVIE |
SONY |
Ok. So you've never heard of ONE DIRECTION. Well, obviously you're not a young girl between the ages of 8-13. Tweens go absolutely gaga for the British boy band and Sony is hoping to capitalize on their lucsious limey-ness. But the big surprise isn't the fact that the concert documentary is moving from a holiday release to a late-summer entry, no, it's the director of the, uh, "film" (aka 3D propaganda) that's causing a bit of a media maelstrom. Yes, it's none other than Morgan Spurlock. Who? Well, obviously you're not a hipster between the ages of 28-39. You know, the younger, hipper Michael Moore.
Apparently stuffing his face with McDonalds ("Super Size Me") and running amuck around the globe searching for Bin Laden ("Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden") didn't exactly pay the bills. Coincidently, one of his most recent documentaries, "The Greatest Movie Ever Sold," was a film about branding, advertising and product placement...that was financed by branding, advertising and product placement. Remember kids: you're not a sell out if you buy in...
His last two films "Comic-Con: Episode IV: A Fan's Hope" and "Mansome" both topped out under $40k. Remember kids: if your films don't make money, eventually the phone stops ringing. Spurlock could not immediately be reached for a comment, but was apparently last spotted at Target ransacking the One Direction display.

| THE FANTASTIC FOUR (2015) |
FOX |
Compared to "Spider-Man," this was LONG overdue. Fox and Marvel have offically set March 6, 2015 as the release date for the new "The Fantastic Four." The reboot will be directed by Josh Trask ("Chronicle"), although no word yet on whether or not any of the original cast will return. The first film and its sequel were released in 2005 and 2007, and scored worldwide grosses of $330M and $289M, respectively.
Although those numbers are on the low-end for big-budget comic book adaptations, Fox is obiviously hip to the fact that the Marvel brand name is the hottest thing in Hollywood right now. The studio will partner with Marvel to release "The Wolverine" this summer--featuring Hugh Jackman's fifth big screen appearance--while Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past" will arrive July 18, 2014.
Now if they can just get The Thing to not look like a costume that was bought at Party City. CGI, anyone?

| UNTITLED PEANUTS FILM |
FOX |
"Good grief...what took so long, Charlie Brown!"
Fox and Blue Sky Animation have finally locked down the rights to make an animated film based on Charles Schultz's beloved comic strip featuring Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown and the rest of the "Peanuts" gang.
The release date marks the 65th anniversary of
the debut of the “Peanuts” comic strip and the 50th anniversary of the landmark
television special, “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
Steve Martino ("Ice Age: Continental Drift," "Horton Hears a Who!") will direct, with a script by Craig Schultz, Bryan Schutlz, and Cornelius Uliano. Craig is Charles' son, and Bryan his grandson...which was likely part of the deal.
Peanuts dance party may now commence.
